The main premises woven through our newsletters, are:

a) The web of life that is created by each heartfelt connection between two individuals, and the proliferation of respect and caring amongst communities of people throughout the world, offers us abundant sources of inspiration, support, and sustenance.
b) Our bodies, are highly intelligent, and a source of great intuition and wisdom, once we learn how to better attend to them.
c) Every challenging situation we encounter has multiple high quality solutions. As we explore how to listen deeply and acknowledge how little we really know, we will discover how to embody a life of courage, creativity, and humility.
d) There is a Greater Intelligence/God-mind present in our world that we all have access to and that manifests for each of us in multiple ways.

If these ideas sound interesting to you and you would like to join our newsletter community, please take a moment and subscribe now.

Here is what some subscribers have said to us concerning our newsletter:

Charlie, I just wanted to send you a quick note to thank you for your newsletter.
I find your writing and teaching to be an oasis, within a busy life. The style of writing, the messages it gives to me and the feeling of wanting to strive to be a better person are truly uplifting. I believe I have a lot to learn, but it is worth the effort.
I am keeping your newsletter in a folder I have named "Self Development" as I am convinced that in re-reading your writings I will find things I have missed first time around.
I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate what you are doing.
Respectfully, Andy Clayton

I treasure your newsletter as a source of knowledge and inspiration.
There has never been an issue I have perused that did not lead me to reexamine my strategies and behaviors.
Chris Case

Hello Charlie, I am a new subscriber to your newsletter. I find that it touches me in a way that is so suggestive of the oriental body arts you frequently refer to. I do yoga and tai chi and have some inclination as to what it is you are referring to. These stories are an invitation to explore these arts much further. I also love their simplicity, there lack of artifice, making their lesson even more suggestive. It shows their soul. Please keep sending them.
Best wishes,

Dear folks,
Though I am very far from your presence, and haven't had the privilege of working with any of you in person, I do thank you and acknowledge you for the very real contribution your work and your newsletters have made to my being and to my experience of the world.

I'm a man, aged in my late 40s, whose career has never really taken off - in fact, it's been marked mostly by fits and sputters and many, many false starts - and now seems to have stalled for good. At this age, with no life partner and completely estranged from my family, facing the daunting prospect of needing to re-invent myself and having no inspiration to draw on, I've looked into myself and found nothing but withered dreams I could no longer quite touch or taste or catch the hue of, and an old sense of excitement at being alive that has long since curdled into bitter resignation. I've been unemployed and friendless now for fifteen months, in which time I thought the only thing flourishing in me was a growing conviction that I had no place in this world, was unwanted, and would certainly not be missed should I find an exit hatch somewhere. In fact, I'd come to believe it might even be a good and positive thing that I could do: that it could make more space, a little patch somewhere, for something else to grow that might be worth more as it reached towards the sunlight.

Sometimes the smallest things can shift an unfavourable balance. A candle in a dark corner, a pinch of salt in a bitter broth. One thing that has lifted a little of the darkness from my soul has been the Seishindo group and your newsletters.
