Seishindo Somatic Coaching
Use your body as a second source of intelligence
with Charlie Badenhop and Marleen Adriaensen
October 2-3, 2008
in Antwerp, Belgium

Do you find yourself unable to help certain clients without really understanding why?

Would you like to intuitively follow the lead of your clients, rather than attempting to apply a fixed set of theories and techniques?

Have you discovered that helping people change the way they think, often doesn't help them change the way they behave and feel?

You will become more confident and effective as a coach once you learn how to:
Understand how the body catalyzes people's emotions and drives their behavior.
Bypass the rational mind, and "talk" directly to your client's body and their emotional self.
Discover the positive, live airming meaning of your clients problems and symptoms.

You'll be introduced to precise well proven methods for observing, understanding, and respectfully interacting with the non-verbal conversations of your clients. You'll also learn simple yet powerful practices that help you meld the wisdom of the body with the wisdom of the intellect—So that more often, your clients are able to achieve the goals they desire.

In this workshop you will
Experience how the way people use their body determines their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
Learn how to enter into "an embodied state of awareness", in order to grain greater rapport with and intuitive understanding of your clients.
Create a framework that leads you to focus on your client's strengths and potentials, rather than attempting to help people overcome perceived weaknesses.
Learn how to think less, in order to understand more.

For you?
Seishindo Somatic Coaching can be used as a tool for coaches, leaders, managers and anyone promoting health, awareness, self conidence, and well-being, in others.
Wear comfortable clothing that you can move in, and know that you are free to work at your own pace and rhythm. This course is not physically demanding.
The course is in English; the exercises and practices in smaller groups you will do in your own language.

"I've taken two workshops with Charlie & Marleen. Their work has taught me how to make a better connection between my body, mind & soul. As a psychologist I have learned to access and trust the wisdom of my body, and no longer always require my intellect to lead the way. I often hear in my mind Charlie saying "take a deep breath", and I more and more realize that breathing is one of the most important elements in being solution oriented. The principles of fierceness, tenderness and playfulness, I now often use in my coaching work as well. The Seishindo Somatic Coaching workshops have helped me strengthen and solidify my work as a coach. The more often I am able to find my physical and emotional balance, the more often my clients and myself find our place of inner power. I am discovering how to get to the core essence of verbal-somatic communication and I can thus offer more options to my clients while staying connected to my inner source of wisdom."
Catherine Poissonier, Coach

"I have attended a Seishindo workshop last October in Antwerp and not only did I totally enjoy myself, meet new people and make new friends, but I really learnt a huge amount of new 'stuff' about me and my body. As a professional breathwork facilitator I am still using techniques and exploring ideas that were demonstrated in such a wonderful way. It is rare that I have the opportunity to take part in a workshop of such high calibre. Charlie's method of teaching is very experiential, engaging and enthusiastic. It is a true testament to the heart and soul that he brings to his work and his very fortunate clients. If you are up for an active weekend where you can rally learn how to start transforming your life I recommend that you consider booking yourself into this workshop."
Geoffrey Smith, BreathWork Facilitator, La Hulpe, Belgium

"The workshop gave me insight into how I function and how I can improve the quality of my life by going to my centre. I learned how important breathing is and how to find my strength and balance again.
Charlie Badenhop is an inspiring and very competent person.
It is six weeks since I attended his workshop. I do some Seishindo exercises regularly, and I feel more powerful since then. I still experience the workshop every day!"
Rob Driessen, HR Manager, Antwerpen, Belgium

"A good self-understanding is very important today during the tremendous changes currently ongoing in our working and social life. Attending the Seishindo workshop gave me a unique opportunity to learn mind-body connections in ways that were entertaining, energising and unforgettable. The workshop helped me to go through important changes with a larger degree of confidence and with an increased feeling of joy."
Ulf Sundberg, Business Executive
